Lara Prašnikar renews with Eintracht Frankfurt

Lara Prašnikar renews with Eintracht Frankfurt and will stay with the club at least until June 2025.

The 23-year-old started career in her native Slovenia with ŽNK Rudar. Already in 2016, she moved to Germany and signed for Turbine Potsdam. In the summer 2020, the Slovenian goalgeter moved to Frankfurt, where she established herself as a key figure. The numbers confirm the trust. Prašnikar is currently top scorer in the team with seven goals in the current season so far.

“The city and the club simply suit me – and I fit well in Frankfurt! Since my transfer in 2020, I have been able to further develop myself personally and I am convinced that we are on the right track as a team. That’s why I’m very happy that I can continue to be a part of this club and this great team. I want to train hard here and give everything with the team to be able to play in the Champions League next year,” told Prašnikar for the club’s website.

Eintracht have already managed to secure long-term contracts with most of the key players. Shekiera Martinez, Sophia Kleinherne, Barbara Dunst, Verena Hanshaw have all signed new deals recently.
