Laura Sieger renews with SV Meppen

Laura Sieger renews her contract with SV Meppen that is expiring at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has joined Meppen before the start of the season from Bayer Leverkusen. She has established herself as a number one between posts and played on 15 games across all competitions. Meppen will have to fight to stay in the Frauen Bundesliga. Currently, the team from Emsland has 2 points advantage from the relegation places. Sieger has multiple caps for German youth teams, but still waiting for her first senior call-up.

“I am pleased that we have been able to agree on further cooperation. I play in a great environment in Meppen and am part of a fantastic team. After my first steps in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, I found continuity in Meppen. I would also like to continue on this path for my personal development at Meppen,” Sieger added.
