Lena Uebach moves to FC Köln from league rivals, Turbine Potsdam. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.
The 21-year-old played in Bayer Leverkusen, helping them secured promotion to Frauen Bundesliga in 2017 before making a move to Turbine in 2020. Despite struggling with injuries, the German midfielder made so far 38 appearances and scored five goals in the top flight of German women’s football. Uebach joins Selina Cerci, Jasmin Pal, Celina Degen, Sarah Puntigam and Andrea Gavric, who already moved to Köln in the past few weeks.
“I’m really looking forward to the new and exciting task at FC and am more than grateful for the club’s vote of confidence. Something really big is being created here and I can’t wait to be a part of it,” said Uebach.
