Leonie Köster extends with Eintracht Frankfurt

The Frankfurt’s office remains very active after also Leonie Köster extends with Eintracht Frankfurt. She will stay with the club until June 2024.

The 20-year-old arrived to Frankfurt in 2020 from FC Bayern München, where she played with the second team. In the current season, the German defender made 7 appearances in Frauen Bundesliga. On the international stage, Köster has been part of all youth selections until U-19.

“In the almost two years since I moved to Frankfurt, I have come to love and appreciate the team. I can totally identify with Eintracht’s philosophy. It’s incredibly fun to work with such great personalities every day. You can tell in every unit that we are far from the end of our road and I look forward to seeing us achieve our goals,” said Köster.

Eintracht recently extended contracts with a lot of players, including Leticia Santos, Lara Prašnikar, Shekiera Martinez, Sophia Kleinherne, Barbara Dunst, Cara Bösl and, Verena Hanshaw.
