Lina Hausicke renews with Werder Bremen and will continue in a green-white jersey also in the next season.
The 25-year-old has been with the club since 2017 after having previously played for USV Jena. Werder’s captain is already one of the top 10 players with the most appearances for the club after she played 119 matches for the club. Another important extension for Werder, which also recently renewed contracts with Nina Lührßen, Maja Sternad, Emilie Bernhardt, Jasmin Sehan, Ricarda Walkling and Michelle Ulbrich.
“I am now entering my seventh season at Werder. It is an affair of the heart. I feel very comfortable in the city and the club and love the Werder fans. That’s why I’m happy that the path continues for me,” said Hausicke.
