Linda Sembrant joins FC Bayern

Linda Sembrant joins FC Bayern München as a loaned player from Juventus FC until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old spent the last five years in Torino, where she won three Serie A Femminile titles. The Swedish center-back with 143 caps for her country, previously also played in France for Montpellier and in her homeland for AIK, Göteborg, and Tyresö FF. With the Swedish national team, Sembrant came third in the World Cup three times in 2011, 2019 and 2023 and won a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

“FC Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in Europe with an impressive history. I’m really looking forward to moving to the club. The women have a great team with strong players,” added Sembrant, becoming the second winter arrival for the Bavarians, joining Momoko Tanikawa.
