Lotta Cordes joins FC Köln

Lotta Cordes joins FC Köln at the start of the new season from Vfl Wolfsburg. She signed a two-year deal.

The 20-year-old has come through the ranks at Wolfsburg and debuted in the Bundesliga, where she made a total of 11 appearances. The talented German midfielder also played four matches in the Women’s Champions League. In order to get more regular playing time, she opted to join Köln, who already secured a Bundesliga spot also for the next season.

“I’m really looking forward to playing for Köln in the new season. The discussions with those responsible were absolutely convincing, and I didn’t have any doubts that Köln would stay up this season. I hope that I can become an important Bundesliga player in Köln,” said Cordes.
