Lynn Wilms will join Vfl Wolfsburg in the summer

Lynn Wilms will join Vfl Wolfsburg in the summer on a free transfer from FC Twente. She signed a contract until June 2024.

Squad planning for the German champions is in a full swing. Lynn Wilms is already a 5th addition to the squad, after Joelle Smits, Lena Lattwein, Tabea Waßmuth and Sandra Starke. The 20-year-old debuted in the Dutch national team already with 18 years. To date, she has 10 appearances for the European champions. With Twente, she became Dutch champion in 2019. Together with Tommy Stroot, who will become a new Wolfsburg head coach in the summer.

“I am very happy and looking forward to taking this big step in the summer. VfL Wolfsburg is an absolute top club in women’s football, contenders for titles in all competitions. Competing with world-class players in training will also help me in my personal development. Obviously, I want to win as many titles as possible with VfL, especially the Champions League is a big goal. But my focus in the next few weeks will be on FC Twente. I am very grateful that I could mature there as a player and a person,” Wilms added after signing.
