Mai Kyōkawa transfers to Turbine Potsdam

Mai Kyōkawa transfers to Turbine Potsdam from a Japanese side, INAC Kobe Leonessa.

The 28-year-old has been part of Kobe Leonessa her whole senior career. After almost 100 appearances in the top Japanese flight, the forward decided to move abroad for the first time. Kyōkawa, who played five matches for the national team, becomes third Turbine’s reinforcement for the new season, joining Noemi Gentile and Maya Hahn.

“I’m really excited with my first oversea challenge! Willing to seize the championship in Frauen Bundesliga and get qualified in the UEFA Women’s Champions League with this team Potsdam. Hope to see everyone very soon,” said Kyokawa.
