Manon Klett pens a new deal with Köln and will stay with the club at least until the end of the next season.
The 25-year-old, “product” of the Wolfsburg youth academy, left the Wolves in 2018 after failing to secure a place in the first team. After spells with FSV Gütersloh 2009 and SC Sand, the German goalkeeper arrived to Köln in 2020. In the current season, she stood between the post fifteen times across all competitions. Köln is already actively building the squad for the next season. A few days ago, arrival of Lotta Cordes was announced.
“I’m very happy to have the opportunity to stay with FC for another year. I feel very much at home in the city and at the club and want to play my part in helping us establish ourselves in the Bundesliga,” said Klett.
