Marco Gebhardt appointed Turbine Potsdsam coach, replacing Sebastian Middeke, who was sacked in November.
The 50-year-old was most recently in charge at Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin and led the club up to the Oberliga. Turbine Potsdam, once the best football club in Germany, have a mountain to climb in order to avoid relegation. Winless in this season, Turbine firmly sit on the last place with only one point and 9 points behind the penultimate place.
“I am very much looking forward to the task and the challenge and I would like to thank the club for the trust they have placed in me. I am very excited and look forward to getting to know the team better and working with the players in the next few days,” said Gebhardt.
