Milena Nikolić extends with Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen and Milena Nikolić have agreed to extend the contract until summer 2023.

Bosnian attacker came to Leverkusen in 2019 and has performed in 36 games. So far she scored 14 goals. In the current season, she is the best club’s scorer with 7 goals.

Head coach Achim Feifel highlighted the importance of 28-year-old Bosnian forward: “She is an extremely important player for us. She has a strong header, dynamism, aggressiveness and a willingness to work hard. Milena is a person with a strong character who also fits in well with the team. She still has a lot of potential and will be able to develop well here with us.”

“I feel honoured to be able to continue playing for Bayer 04. We are building something together here, and I am proud to be a part of it. There is still more in us, and we have set our sights high. I am satisfied and happy that I will continue my career here,” said the striker.
