Myrthe Moorrees renews with FC Köln

Myrthe Moorrees renews with FC Köln and will stay with the club at least until the end of the next season.

The 27-year-old joined Köln before the start of the season from SC Sand. The Dutch centre-back played all 14 matches in Frauen Bundesliga and scored one goal, adding to her Bundesliga tally from Sand, where she made 40 appearances and scored 3 goals across 2 seasons. Previously, she played in her native Netherlands for PSV Eindhoven and FC Utrecht.

“My first year here has been great so far, I feel very comfortable – with my teammates, with the coaching and function team and in this club. I want to help Köln to be successful in the future. So there were many reasons why I extended my contract with the club,” said Moorrees.
