Nicole Billa commits to TSG Hoffenheim until 2023

Nicole Billa has extended her contract with TSG Hoffenheim for two more years until 2023. The attacker, who moved to Germany from Austrian SKN St. Pölten in 2015 and was named Austria’s Female Footballer of the Year in 2019, has already played 121 competitive matches for TSG and scored 62 goals.

“I’m looking forward to being a part of this process in the future”

– Nicole Billa

With 14 goals, Nicole Billa is currently leading the goalscorer standings in FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga, scoring ten times for TSG in the last four competitive matches. The 24-year-old has now extended her contract early until 2023, hopefully continuing to score for TSG Hoffenheim in the next two seasons. “We are very happy that we will retain Nici. She is an absolute top performer and leading player who has already taken us a long way forward with her quality and will continue to do so,” emphasized Ralf Zwanziger, Head of Women’s Football at TSG. “With her strong performances, Nici has made a name for herself in European women’s soccer. She is an experienced Bundesliga and international player who, at just 24, has certainly not reached the end of her development yet.”

“I’m looking forward to being a part of this process in the future and continuing to work towards the Champions League goal with this club that is very close to my heart. I have the opportunity here to learn a lot more in my role as a leading player and to grow with my responsibilities,” the striker added.
