Niko Arnautis extends with Eintracht Frankfurt prematurely for two more seasons and will stay with the Eagles until June 2024.
The 41-year-old has been Eintracht’s head coach since 2017 and initially had a contract until 2022. The four seasons he spent in Frankfurt makes him the longest-serving coach in Frauen Bundesliga. The DFB Pokal final was the biggest success for German-Greek coach. In the last season, Eintracht Frankfurt finished on the 6th place in the Frauen Bundesliga.
“It feels great when, as a coach, you are shown such great appreciation and recognition for the work you have done by the people in charge of such a traditional and outstanding club as Eintracht Frankfurt. At the same time, the early contract extension is a great mutual sign of trust,” said Arnautis.
