Nuria Rabano joins Wolfsburg on a free transfer from FC Barcelona. She signed a three-year deal, until June 2026.
The 24-year-old played for Deportivo La Coruna and Real Sociedad prior to joining the Catalans. For Blaugrana, the Spanish full-back played in 24 matches across all competitions. Rabano already debuted for the Spanish national team as well, with her only appearance up to date being friendly against Sweden last year.
“I’m really looking forward to the new challenge at VfL Wolfsburg. VfL has been one of the best in Europe for many years and even in Spain it is well known how professional the work in Wolfsburg is,” said Rabano. The Wolves already signed Caitlin Dijkstra, Fenna Kalma, Camilla Küver, Riola Xhemaili and Vivien Endeman for the next season.
