Ramona Maier moves to SGS Essen

Ramona Maier moves to SGS Essen with whom she signs a two-year contract.

The 26-year-old was part of FC Bayern youth academy but failed to make a breakthrough to the senior team due to injuries. She signed for SC Regensburg, where she made her way up from the regional league and joined Ingolstadt. In the last three seasons, the German forward played in 2. Frauen Bundesliga on 52 matches and scored 46 goals.

“I’m looking forward to the new challenge and hope that I can contribute to a successful season with some goals,” said Maier.
