Rebecka Blomqvist renews with Wolfsburg

Rebecka Blomqvist renews with Wolfsburg and signs a contract until June 2025.

The 25-year-old joined Wolfsburg in December 2020 from her childhood club, BK Häcken. Since then, the Swedish forward made 64 apperances for the Wolves. Blomqvist, who has 18 caps for the national team, will also represent Sweden in the upcoming Women’s World Cup. Wolfsburg also extended with Lynn Wilms recently.

“I think I have developed very well as a player in my two and a half years in Wolfsburg. I am in a world-class environment here and I am convinced that I can take the next steps in my career at VfL Wolfsburg. The whole team is fantastic and I can’t wait to compete for more titles with them,” added Blomqvist.
