Remina Chiba transfers to Eintracht

Remina Chiba transfers to Eintracht Frankfurt from a Japanese side, JEF United Chiba Ladies. She penned a deal until June 2026.

The 24-year-old has been playing in the WE League, the top Japanese league, since 2022 and scored nine goals in 22 games for her club. The Japanese forward also debuted for the national team in the same year. Prior to that, Chiba came second in the U-17 World Cup in 2016. Frankfurt will be her first experience abroad.

“Eintracht has excellent conditions and that’s why I really wanted to go to Frankfurt. I want to settle in as quickly as possible, get to know the team and do my best to contribute to our success as part of this club,” said Chiba.
