Rieke Dieckmann moves to Werder Bremen

Rieke Dieckmann moves to Werder Bremen, who joins from rival German side, Turbine Potsdam.

Despite being Turnine Potsdam’s player, the 24-year-old spent last season on loan with Twente, where she became a Dutch champion. She joined the Dutch side in the winter transfer break and played in 15 games and scored 2 goals since then. She has been Turbine Potsdam player since 2018 and has a total of 38 appearances on her tally. A former German international in youth categories is now looking to get more play time back in Germany.

“I have played against Werder all my football life and am now looking forward to also playing for Green-Whites and calling Bremen my new home. I am convinced of the footballing concept and hope to be able to bring my strengths onto the pitch here. I can’t wait for the new season to finally get underway,” added Dieckmann.
