Sara Agrež joins Wolfsburg

Sara Agrež joins Wolfsburg from Turbine Potsdam in the summer. She signed a contract until June 2025.
The 21-year-old played for Rudar Škale, Radomlje and Pomurje before leaving her native Slovenia and joining Turbine Potsdam in 2019. The Slovenian international centre-back has since made 46 appearances for Turbine. Ironically, her last match for the club will most likely be DFB Cup final against her future club.
“VfL Wolfsburg is one of the top clubs in Europe and will give me ideal conditions to develop both on and off the pitch, which is why I believe that this is the right step to take for my career. I want to help the team to win trophies and am really looking forward to taking on new challenges at VfL. I can hardly wait to give it my all for the club from next summer onwards,” said Agrez.
