Sara Agrež signs for FC Köln, Adriana Achcińska renews

Sara Agrež signs for FC Köln, joining the club from Frauen Bundesliga rivals, Wolfsburg. She signed a contract until June 2026.

The 23-year-old played in Germany since 2019 when she left her native Slovenia and joined Turbine Potsdam. After successfully performing for Turbine, the central-defender signed for Wolfsburg in 2022. But after failing to get a regular playing time with the Wolves, the Slovenian international is joining Köln. In total, Agrež played a total of 52 matches in Bundesliga.

“1. FC Köln is a great club that I have been following for a long time. I’m really looking forward to wearing the FC jersey on the pitch for the first time,” added Agrež.

The club also announced contract renewal with Adriana Achcińska who will stay with Köln at least until June 2026. The 21-year-old arrived to Germany in 2021 from UKS SMS Łódź  and played 28 matches for the club.
