Sarah-Lisa Dübel transfers to Werder Bremen

Sarah-Lisa Dübel transfers to Werder Bremen from their league rivals, SC Sand.

The 24-year-old played in 2. Frauen Bundesliga before moving across the Atlantic to study in the US and playing for Flagler College. In 2020, the German goalkeeper returned home and joined SC Sand. In the last season, Dübel stood between the post six times.

“I chose Werder because I am convinced that I can develop and improve my soccer skills here. In addition, the environment and also the people I have had the chance to get to know have been very congenial to me, and I think I will be in good hands in Bremen,” added Dübel.
