Sarah Zadrazil pens a new deal with FC Bayern

Sarah Zadrazil pens a new deal with FC Bayern München and will stay with the club at least until June 2026.

The 29-year-old joined Bayern in 2020 from a fellow Frauen Bundesliga side, Turbine Potsdam. The Austrian midfielder previously played in the American college football, but returned to Europe in 2016, signing for Turbine. For the Bavarians, she made over 70 appearances and won the Bundesliga title two years ago. Zadrazil is also a regular in the Austrian national team, with over 100 caps on her tally.

“I’m just happy that I can continue to be a part of this team and this club. On the one hand, I believe that we still have a lot of sporting potential and high goals that we want to achieve. On the other hand, I just feel extremely comfortable in Munich. The girls and our team spirit are unique and Munich has become my second home. From there, it was clear to me that I would like to stay longer,” said Zadrazil, who joins Lea Schüller as the latest renewal.
