Sebastian Middeke takes over Turbine Potsdam

Sebastian Middeke takes over Turbine Potsdam after the departure of Sofian Chahed, who sat on Turbine’s bench for the last two seasons.

The 38-year-old spent his whole coaching career with SV Meppen. First as an assistant coach of the women’s team in 2. Frauen Bundesliga, and in the past few years as a coach of Meppen’s U-20 women’s team and other youth categories. Turbine Potsdam will be the debut job for the German coach.

“I am very honoured to be part of this incredibly traditional club. Driving the change forward with this great team is an incredible challenge that I’m really looking forward to. From now on, it’s full throttle,” added Middeke.
