Selina Ostermeier and Alexandra Emmerling join Bayer Leverkusen at the beginning of the next season from SGS Essen and SV Meppen. Both signed a contract until June 2024.
The 23-year-old Bayern Selina Ostermeier academy player debuted in senior level in Entracht Frankfurt’s shirt. In 2020, the German centre-back moved to SGS Essen. In total, she made 37 Bundesliga appearances and established herself in the starting lineup for the 10th team of Frauen Bundesliga. In Leverkusen, they also recently renewed contracts with Anna Klink and Chiara Bücher.
“I’m really looking forward to playing for Bayer Leverkusen next season. I would like to take the next step in my development here,” said Ostermeier.

On the other side, the 22-year-old Alexandra Emmerling arrives from SV Meppen. The German midfielder, who played together with Ostermeier at Frankfurt, joined Meppen in 2020. After relegation in the last season, Emmerling is looking to return to the highest level of the German football.
