Synne Hansen joins, Amira Arfaoui renews with Bayer Leverkusen

Synne Hansen joins the club from Rosenborg, while Amira Arfaoui renews with Bayer Leverkusen.

The 27-year-old Hansen played for various clubs in her native Norway, before spending one season in Allsvenskan in Sweden. In 2021, she returned to Norwegian Toppserien, signing for Rosenborg. In total, Hansen played over 160 matches in the highest tier of the Norwegian women’s football.

I’m looking forward to the new task at Bayer 04 and in the Women’s Bundesliga and I’m sure that I will help the team to achieve the ambitious goals with my goals and assists,” said Hansen.

Bayer Leverkusen also announced contract renewal with Armira Arfaoui. The Swiss midfielder joined the club in 2021 from Servette and has soon become a regular. In total, she played 46 matches for Werkself.
