Tabea Waßmuth renews with Wolfsburg prematurely for an additional year. She is now tied to the club until June 2025.
The 25-year-old joined Wolfsburg before the season from their league rivals, Hoffenheim, where she debuted on the senior level and for whom she played almost 100 matches. In the current season, the German midfielder made 19 appearances in Frauen Bundesliga. With 21 goals in all competitions, she is also Wolfsburg’s top goalscorer in the current season.
“I am very happy to have extended my contract early with VfL Wolfsburg, where I feel very comfortable. Working with the team, the coaches and the team behind the team is enormous fun. We have gone through a great development this season and I am sure that we are far from the end of our road. I feel a great motivation to continue doing my part to achieve our team goals in the future,” said Waßmuth.
