Tainara da Silva transfers to FC Bayern München

Tainara da Silva transfers to FC Bayern München from Girondins Bordeaux. She signed a three-year deal until June 2025.

The 23-year-old played in her native Brasil for Vitoria, Santos and Palmeiras before moving to across the ocean and signing for Bordeuax back in January. In the second half of the season, the central defender played 10 matches in D1 Arkema league. Tainara has also worn Brazilian jersey 10 times. The Bavarians have already signed Georgia Stanway and Emelyne Laurent for the next season.

“FC Bayern is a very big club and there are many very good players playing here. That’s why I’m happy to be able to play here and will do my best to be successful. I want to win all the titles you can win with FC Bayern,” said Tainara.
