Tanja Pawollek extends with Eintracht Frankfurt

Tanja Pawollek extends with Eintracht Frankfurt and adds two additional years to her existing contract. She will stay with the club until June 2025.

The 23-year-old has played in Frankfurt her whole career. Initially as a part of 1. FFC Frankfurt, which later reformed as Eintracht. The German-born midfielder, who plays for the Polish national team, played 128 matches for the Eagles across all competitions. As one of the longest serving players in the club, Pawollek also wears the captain’s armband. Madeleine Steck, Leonie Koster, Leticia Santos, and Lara Prašnikar are just some of the Eintracht players that also extended their contracts recently.

“The decision was not difficult for me, because it was clear to me that I want to continue on the path here. I love this city and the people at the club. You can tell that Eintracht also relies on women – it’s nice to feel that appreciation and to realize how many people are behind you,” added Pawollek.
