Tine De Caigny transfers to Hoffenheim in the summer

Tine De Caigny transfers to Hoffenheim in the summer from Belgian side RSC Anderlecht. She signed a contract until June 2023.

Belgium’s Footballer of the Year 2020 made her debut in National team already in 2014 at 17. In recent qualifiers, she was a crucial part of Red Flames, scoring 12 goals which made her a top goalscorer in EURO qualification stage. The 23-year-old has 59 appearances and 24 goals for the Belgian national team. In last 4 years in Brussels, she was very efficient, scoring 45 goals in 57 matches for Anderlecht.

“TSG Hoffenheim is an ambitious and very professional club that has already taken many good steps in the past few years. I am happy to be part of a young team that I will definitely find my way into quickly. My goal is to develop myself further and to become a better player, and I am sure that I will have optimal conditions for this in Hoffenheim. I want to help the team as much as possible, and I hope to play a good role in the Champions League with TSG soon,” De Caigny added.
