Turbine Potsdam sack Sebastian Middeke

Turbine Potsdam sack Sebastian Middeke after an awful start into Frauen Bundesliga season. The club announced an interim solution until the winter break.

The 38-year-old coach took charge in Potsdam at the beginning of the season, succeeding Sofian Chahed. Turbine, which finished fourth in the last three seasons, managed to get only one point from first six matches and are currently sitting last in Frauen Bundesliga.

The club is dealing with a lot of internal issues at the moment. Club president, Rolf Kutzmutz and vice president Uwe Reher resigned recently, while other board members stepped down as well.
