Werder Bremen renew with trio Maja Sternad, Emilie Bernhardt and Jasmin Sehan.
The 19-year-old Maja Sternad joined the club in 2021 from Arminia Bielefeld. Despiter her age, she established herself as an important player in rotation and made 41 appearances so far. The German midfielder, who also has Slovenian passport, scored two goals on the way.
Emilie Bernhardt arrived to Werder ahead of the previous season and played 16 matches in Frauen Bundesliga. The 21-year-old forward later suffered cruciate ligament injury and was absent in the last season.

The 25-year-old Jasmin Sehan is the most experienced out of the three. She joined Werder in 2020 from a fellow German side SC Sand and played a total of 53 matches and scored three goals.
Squad planning in Bremen is in full swing. The club already renewed contracts with Ricarda Walkling and Michelle Ulbrich.
