Weronika Zawistowska extends with FC Bayern

Weronika Zawistowska extends with FC Bayern München and will play for the Bavarians at least until June 2025.

The 23-year-old striker moved from Polish champions KKS Czarni Sosnowiec to FC Bayern in 2021 and was initially loaned to 1. FC Köln for two years. Before the current season, the Polish forward returned to Munich but is yet to play a game for the Frauen Bundesliga title holders. Zawistowska also has 22 caps for the national team.

“I’m happy that I can stay at FC Bayern. I get great support here from both the coaching staff and the girls. My focus now is on rehabilitation and getting back,” added Zawistowska.
