Ana González moves to Madrid CFF from a fellow Liga Iberdrola side, Real Betis.
The 27-year-old Sevilla native spent her whole career in her home town. Initially as a Sevilla FC player, but signed for a city rivals, Betis in 2014. Since then, the Spanish defender played over 100 matches for Las Verdiblancas. González already knows the Madrid coach, Maria Pry. The duo collaborated for a few seasons during Pry’s time on the Betis’ bench. Madrid CFF already signed Tang Jial, Aida Esteve, Ruth Alvarez, Karen Araya and Rachel Kundananji during current transfer window.
“I am happy and excited about this new stage. Work, commitment and more desire than ever to continue growing,” wrote Gonzalez on Twitter.
