Ana Junyent takes over SD Eibar

Ana Junyent takes over SD Eibar and will become 6th female head coach in Liga Iberdrola for the next season.

The former Barcelona player, where she spent 9 seasons, signed a one-year contract until the end of the next season. In the last two seasons, Junyent was coaching Seagull de Badalona, a team that plays in the second Spanish division. Previously, she also worked in the United States where she was in charge of some youth teams on the highest level.

For the new season, only two teams are yet to appoint the coach: Madrid CFF and Rayo Vallecano.
