Ana-Maria Crnogorčević and Vilde Bøe Risa sign for Atletico Madrid

Ana-Maria Crnogorčević and Vilde Bøe Risa sign for Atletico Madrid, joining the club from Barcelona and Manchester United, respectively. Both signed a contract until the end of the season.

Ana-Maria Crnogorčević played in Thun before making a move to Germany and joining Hamburger SV for one season, followed by spell with Frankfurt, where she spent seven years and played over 100 matches. In 2018, the Swiss forward spent one season with Portland Thorns before signing for Barcelona. For Blaugrana she played 114 matches across all competitions.

“Atlético de Madrid is a great club and I am very grateful to be here,” she added.

The 28-year-old Vilde Bøe Risa started her senior career with Arna-Bjørnar, which she left in 2019 to play in Sweden for Göteborg FC. After a brief spell back in Norway with Sandviken, the Norwegian midfielder signed for Manchester United in 2021. Bøe Risa played a total of 44 matches during her time with the Red Devils.

“It’s nice to be part of this great club. I’m very excited to get started,” said the newest Atletico Madrid player. Colchonere also recently signed Patricia Larqué, Sheila Guijarro and Gaby García.
