Anita Marcos joins Valencia CF from a fellow Liga Iberdrola side, Sporting Huelva. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.
The 21-year-old got her first senior experience with Atlético Madrid. In order to get more playing time, she was loaned, first to Celtic, later to Valencia, where she spent half of the season. Last year, she made a permanent move to Sporting Huelva, for whom she played 26 matches and scored ten goals in the last season. Liced Serna and Cosette Morche have already joined the club during the current transfer window.
“I decided to go for Valencia CF because it is a team that has a lot of history, I like their game and, above all, it is a very young team with a lot of capacity for growth and learning. Thanks to the work and daily effort I got this opportunity again and I did not want to miss it,” said Marcos.
