Bri Folds moves to Real Betis

Bri Folds moves to Real Betis for the next two seasons from BK Häcken.

The 23-year-old arrived in Europe in 2020, where she joined a Swedish side, BK Häcken (formerly Göteborg FC). In February, the American midfielder was loaned to Fortuna Hjørring, where she spent the second half of the last season. Previously, Folds played for Auburn University, where she scored 25 goals and provided 25 assists in 79 appearances.

“I am very excited to be here and to be a part of this big club and of this beautiful city. I will do the best I can and work hard. I am really excited,” said Folds.

Real Betis already signed Catalina Perez, Gaelle Thalmann, Leire Pena, Laura Gutierrez and Grace Asantewaa in the current transfer window.
