Carmen Carbonell and Bea Prades renew with Villarreal and will stay with the Yellow Submarine at least until the end of the next season.
The 22-year-old Carbonell spent her college years in the US with Rider Broncs. After returning to Europe, the Spanish goalkeeper joined Villarrael in 2020/21 season. Spending most of the time as a B team goalkeeper, Carbonell debuted for the first team in the last season.
Bea Prades started her career with Villarreal but moved to Valencia and Levante later. In 2019, the Spanish midfielder returned to the Yellow Submarine and has since made over 50 appearances. Villarreal office is actively squad-planning for the next season, having extended contracts with Ainoa Campo, Estefanía Lima, Pancha Lara, Paola Soldevila, Nerea Pérez, Cienfu, Belén Martínez, Yeni Giménez, Elena de Toro, Irene Miguélez and Vera Rico.
