Carmen Menayo signs a new deal with Atletico

Carmen Menayo signs a new deal with Atletico Madrid that will keep her in the Spanish capital for three more years, until June 2025.

The 23-year-old started her career in Santa Teresa CD. In 2016, she joined Atlético Madrid and played with Rojiblancas ever since. In total, the Spanish defender made over 100 appearances. During her time in Madrid, Menayo won three Liga Iberdrola titles with the team (2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19).

“I am very grateful to the club for all the confidence. It is very important that the players who have been here for a long time continue, and that has always been clear to both the club and me,” said Menayo.
