Cinta Rodríguez joins Atlético Madrid

Cinta Rodríguez joins Atlético Madrid from Sporting Huelva. She signed a two-year contract, until June 2024.

The 22-year-old has been with Sporting Huelva her whole career. Since her debut on the highest level of the Spanish women’s football, she played over 150 matches in Liga Iberdrola. The Spanish defender joins Andrea Staškova, Xenia Perez, Merle Brath and Irene Guerrero who also moved to Madrid recently.

“The truth is that I am very happy because I am proud to defend the colours of Atlético de Madrid. On an individual level I want to go as far as possible. I’m already at a big club like Atlético de Madrid and on a collective level, I want us to reach the top,” said Rodríguez.
