Claudia Florentino returns to Valencia

Claudia Florentino returns to Valencia, joining the club from Real Madrid. She signed a two-year deal, until June 2025.

The 25-year-old came through Valencia academy ranks and made her senior debut with the Bats. But after failing to become a first team regular, the Spanish centre-back joined Fundacion Albacete in 2017. In 2020, Florentino joined Las Blancas, for which she played 47 matches. Since her playing time was reduced in the last season, she opted to return to her childhood club, where she already made 10 appearances during her first spell.

For me it’s a source of pride to return to the place where I started out as a footballer, without forgetting my beginnings at Rambleta. Returning to my home and to the club that saw me grow up was what I was most looking forward to. Valencia CF is the place where I wanted to be and when the opportunity came up I didn’t hesitate for a second,” said Florentino.
