Cristina Pizarro moves to Sporting Huelva

Chini, with a full name Cristina Pizarro moves to Sporting Huelva from EDF Logroño. She signed a contract until the end of the next season.

The 31-year-old played for different clubs around Spain, including Atlético Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, Sant Gabriel and Real Sociedad. The Spanish defender spent the longest in the Basque Country, where she made over 100 appearances. Since 2019, she played with EDF Logrono, with whom she got relegated in the last season of Liga Iberdrola.

“I am very excited and motivated by this new challenge to go to the city of Huelva, I hope to adapt as good as possible and as soon as possible, I hope you enjoy my game. I am a player who gives everything for the colours and I will try to adapt as soon as possible. I will try to adapt to give 100% as soon as possible and for the fans to enjoy us on the pitch,” said Pizarro.
