David Aznar stays with Real Madrid and will lead them in their first ever participation in the Women’s Champions League.
The coach that took over CD Tacon in 2018, was in charge during transition when Real Madrid Femenino was founded. In their first season as Real Madrid, Las Blancas secured the 2nd place with one match to go. As a vice-champions, they will play in UEFA Women’s Champions League in the next season. Aznar, who led Real to 23 wins in 33 matches, extended the contract for one year, until June 2022.
