Débora García transfers to Sevilla FC

Débora García transfers to Sevilla FC from RCD Espanyol.

The experienced 31-year-old spent a big part of her career in Barcelona with Espanyol, apart from spells with Atlético Madrid and Valencia. During her team with the Bats, she played under the guidance of the current Sevilla coach, Cristian Toro, who she will rejoin in Andalusia. With Espanyol and Atlético Madrid she won Copa de la Reina. In the last season, Barcelona based club got relegated from Liga Iberdrola.

“I’m very happy to be here with you. It’s been a complicated year, the call from Sevilla FC has been a light for me and I hope to give you a lot of joy. When they spoke to me about this proposal I didn’t think about it, it was a priority for me, and I’m very eager and excited to take on this new challenge,” Garcia said.
