Diana Gomes moves to Sevilla FC from a Portuguese side, Braga. She signed a two-year deal with the club.
The 24-year-old is moving across the border for the first time in her career. The Portuguese international defender played 31 matches for Braga. Gomes also participated in the Women’s Euro with the Portuguese national team, for whom she made 24 appearances so far.
“I feel very happy to come here and play for Sevilla. It is an experience I will try to make most out of it and I think it will be a good experience for me,” said Gomes, who is another summer signing for Sevilla, joining Morgane Nicoli, Yolanda Aguirre, Silvia Meseguer, Amanda Sampedro, Eva Llamas, Arola Aparicio, and Cristina Martin-Prieto.
