Esther Okoronkwo signs for Granadilla

Esther Okoronkwo signs for Granadilla Tenerife, joining the club from Saint-Etienne. She signed a contract until June 2025.

The 26-year-old played college football in the US before starting her professional career in 2021 with Saint-Etienne. The Nigerian forwardplayed 18 matches in D1 Arkema, before the club got relegated in the last season. Okoronkwo also debuted for the Nigerian national team, for which she made 3 appearances so far.

The Canary Islands club also announced contract renewals with Thaís Ferreira, Clau Blanco and Claire Falknor. The trio will continue in the blue-white jersey for two mroe years, until June 2025.
