Eva Llamas and Arola Aparicio move to Sevilla

Eva Llamas and Arola Aparicio move to Sevilla FC. The former arrives from their city rivals, Real Betis, while the latter joins from SD Eibar. Both signed a two-year deal with the club.

The 30-year-old Llamas got her first Liga Iberdrola experience with Sant Gabriel. Later, she moved to Tenerife, where the Spanish defender spent five years with Granadilla. In 2020, Llamas moved to Seville and signed for Real Betis. In total, she played almost 300 matches in the Spanish top flight. Sevilla have also signed Cristina Martin-Prieto just a few days ago.

“I am happy to be here. I had some other offers and different places in mind but I am a person, driven by the instinct, so I wanted to be here,” added Llamas.

The 24-year-old Aparicio has started her senior career in Barcelona with Blaugrana’s second team. After she spent four seasons playing and studying in the US, the Spanish forward returned to Barcelona for one season.
