Gaëlle Thalmann moves to Real Betis

Gaëlle Thalmann moves to Real Betis from Servette Chênois, a current Swiss champions. She signed a contract for two years.

The 35-year-old has a very dynamic career. Real Betis will already be her 16th club. Most of her career she spent in Italy, where she played for Fiorentina, Sassuolo, Torres Calcio and Mozzanica. In Germany, she wore shirts of Hamburger, Duisburg and Turbine Potsdam. In 2019, she joined Servette Chênois, for whom she played 23 matches in the last season. The experienced Swiss goalkeeper won Frauen Bundesliga with Turbine in 2009.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to be able to play in a new country. I am sure that with my experience, I can help the team a lot,” said Thalmann.
